QINGDAO (Qingdao Daily/Guanhai News, Dec. 27) – Taidong Pedestrian Street will host a New Year's Eve carnival featuring an all-you-can-drink beer party, under the theme "A Spirited Steed, a Miraculous Taidong," a Guanhai News reporter learned from Shibei District.
From 8 p.m. to midnight on December 31, the Beer Exchange, located in the core area of Taidong Pedestrian Street, will be transformed into the epicenter of the carnival. A giant wrap-around LED screen will display a custom countdown animation, ringing in the new year as the crowd counts down in unison.
The highlight of the night will be the "Beer-Market Crash" promotion, where prices at the beer taps will drop to zero. Fun challenges like the "Rope-Pull Beer Drinking" game will also be held. The district has also planned a "Stamp Rally," where visitors can collect stamps at designated spots and share their experience online to redeem for prizes, including Year of the Horse themed dolls.
Additionally, Taidong Pedestrian Street is collaborating with local businesses to launch various "great-deal" packages. The promotions are wide-ranging and diverse, integrating sectors such as dining, retail, and experiential activities. The event aims to provide tangible benefits to citizens and tourists, ignite consumer enthusiasm this winter, and create a New Year's Eve carnival that is both affordable and joyous.
