On March 22nd, the 24th Qingdao Plum Blossom Festival opened at Qingdao Plum Garden. Licang District of Qingdao will carry out 14 activities in succession around three sectors: cultural experience, food and shopping group, sports and health care. Themed markets will be set up to highlight diversified business types such as food blocks, cultural and creative intangible cultural heritage blocks, children's entertainment areas, and fashion play areas.
Qingdao Plum Garden is located in Qingdao Shimeian Scenic Area, surrounded by mountains on three sides and water on the other side, which is a national AAA level tourist attraction. The scenic area covers an area of more than 110 hectares, and the garden has more than 200 varieties of plum blossoms totaling more than 20,000 plants, plum bonsai more than 8,000 pots, was named by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the PRC as "China's Land of Plum Blossom". It is a good place for citizens and tourists to enjoy plum blossoms and leisure travel. Every year from mid-March to mid-April, tourists walk through the plum garden, appreciating the plum blossom viewing. During the Plum Blossom Festival, different styles of photo spots are set up in the garden to meet the needs of tourists to enjoy the flowers and take photos.
Licang District of Qingdao will take the Qingdao Plum Blossom Festival as an opportunity to integrate cultural and tourism resources within the district, improve the entire tourism industry chain, and create a distinctive and attractive urban leisure tourism destination.
