China’s Youth Day is a festival established to commemorate the May Fourth Movement, which broke out on May 4, 1919. The May Fourth Movement was a thorough patriotic movement against imperialism and feudalism, and it was also the beginning of China's new democratic revolution. May Fourth Youth Day, or China’s Youth Day, is a holiday for Chinese youth and has important historical significance.
During China’s Youth Day, rich and colorful commemorative activities are held in all parts of China, and young people will concentrate on various voluntary and social practice activities. Some places will hold an adulthood ceremony on this day.
