The 2024 Sino-European Entrepreneurs Summit was held in Qingdao on Oct 21, with representatives from well-known Chinese and foreign companies and business associations such as Lazard, Deloitte, Cisco, Sodexo, China Energy Conservation, Haier, and Hisense invited to attend.

The forum, featuring the theme "Shaping a sustainable future together", is an international exchange conference jointly organized by the Qingdao Municipal People's Government and the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation.

Since its establishment in Qingdao in 2019, it has attracted entrepreneurs, experts, and scholars from more than 10 countries and regions, becoming an annual international event bringing together Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs, establishing mutual trust, and promoting cooperation and collaborative development.

The forum also featured two themed sub-forums where representatives from central enterprises and private enterprises engaged in face-to-face exchanges and dialogues with representatives from well-known foreign companies, seeking new opportunities for China-Europe economic and trade exchange cooperation.

Long Yongtu, chairman of the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation, issued a proposal at the conference, stating that Chinese companies should keep abreast with the global trend of sustainable development, especially in the areas of environment, society, and governance, make more contributions to China's economic and social green transformation and sustainable development, and set examples for shaping a prosperous future with global partners.
