2.795 Million Yuan! Qingdao Takes the Lead in the Province by Allocating the First Batch of Vehicle Scrapping and Renewal Subsidy Funds

According to reporters, Qingdao Municipal Finance Bureau and Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Commerce have allocated 2.795 million yuan for vehicle scrapping and renewal subsidies today, benefiting 154 eligible consumers with government support. This makes Qingdao the fastest in Shandong province to disburse these funds. So far, the policy has stimulated approximately 2.607 billion yuan in new car consumption.

The subsidy for scrapping and renewing personal passenger cars has doubled. The new "Implementation Plan" increases the subsidy standard for personal passenger car scrapping and renewal. For consumers who submitted their subsidy applications from April 24 this year and meet the criteria, they will be implemented by the adjusted subsidy standards. Consumers can apply through channels like the "National Automotive Circulation Information Management System" website or the "Vehicle Old-for-New" mini-program.

To achieve efficient collaboration between government, enterprises, and banks, Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Qingdao Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and other departments have worked with UnionPay and automotive service companies to conduct in-depth research on supporting policies. Major automotive companies have actively responded to the policy call, launching corresponding discount activities and creating "multiple benefits."
