On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the SCO Qingdao Summit, the SCO Forum on People-to-People Friendship also the Sister Cities Forum will be held in Qingdao from June 14th to 16th.
This year marks the 5th anniversary of construction of the China SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area in Qingdao. Holding this forum will build a broader high-end international platform for the construction of the SCODA.
The SCO Forum on People-to-People Friendship will invite more than 20 important foreign guests from relevant SCO countries to participate in the conference in Qingdao. This is the highest and largest international event with the highest number of offline attendees held in Qingdao since the epidemic.
The theme of the forum is promoting the 'Shanghai Spirit' and friendly cooperation, promoting friendly exchanges between people and sister cities cooperation is the essence of this forum. Qingdao is accelerating the construction of a modern socialist international metropolis in the new era, making good use of open platform such as the SCODA, and writing the Qingdao chapter of Chinese path to modernization.
