The Shandong Cruise Tourism Development Forum was held on March 27 in Qingdao, Shandong province as part of the 2023 Shandong Tourism Development Conference. The Shandong Coastal City Tourism Alliance was formally established at the forum.
The coastal cities along the 3,345 km coastline of Shandong Province have reached a consensus in Qingdao: mutual connection of ports and harbors, resource sharing, mutual promotion of port enterprises and information sharing.
Cruise tourism as a high-quality leisure tourism, carrying people’s aspirations for a better life, with the rise of the cruise industry, cruise tourism consumer awareness and consumer groups continue to expand, the blue sea between the port and port more closely.
The Qingdao International Cruise Port Area is the only professional cruise port in Shandong Province, and has opened a total of 38 home port routes to Japan, Korea, Russia and other countries since the opening of the port. Cruise tourism and the new port area have become the “new business cards” of Qingdao.
In the near future, it is foreseeable: from the port of Qingdao, you can not only take a cruise to the 3,345 km coastline cities in Shandong, but also to Japan, Korea and Russia; besides the sea trip, you can also find a constant stream of “sea taste” leisure fun in the fresh and interesting places and cultural and diversified markets here.
