Invited by the Chinese President Xi, President Raisi of the Islamic Republic of Iran paid a state visit to China from February 14 to 16. During President Raisi's visit to China, he held a symposium with Iranian representatives in China. As a representative of Iranian teachers and students in China, Naser, the Iranian expert of SDUST, was invited to participate in the symposium and was received by the President and made an oral report.
In his report, Naser introduced the current situation of cooperation between Chinese universities and scientific research institutions and Iranian educational institutions, and analyzed the opportunities for cooperation in education, science and technology, culture and other aspects brought by Iran's becoming a full member of the SCO. Naser said that under the support and guidance of governments at all levels, the Iranians in Shandong are confident to build Shandong into a model province for China-Iraq friendly exchanges. In the report, Naser showed the beautiful scenery of Qingdao and SDUST, which was appreciated by the people present.
President Raisi affirmed and thanked the Iranians stationed in China for their contributions to the friendly exchanges between China and Iran, and expressed great optimism about the prospects for cooperation between China and Iran. He hoped that the Iranians stationed in China would play a role of bridge and link, enhance the mutual understanding between the two peoples, and better benefit the two peoples.
