A total of 33 foreign media reporters from countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific region and Africa visited Qingdao, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province, from Aug 4 to 6.
During their stay, the media group visited the automated container terminal of Qingdao Port, Chinese home appliance giant Hisense Group, the Tsingtao Beer Museum, the RCEP Shandong Enterprise Service Center, urban renewal projects and other places in Qingdao to appreciate the city’s beauty, learn more about its social and economic development achievements, and explore its unique charm as a vibrant coastal city and a great place to live, work and visit.
Foreign reporters praised Qingdao’s achievements in economic and social development, saying that Qingdao is a charming coastal city, and they will better promote what they saw and heard during their trip, as well as tell more stories about Qingdao, Shandong and China to their own countries and the entire world.
