The commencement ceremony of the China North International Oil and Gas Center project was recently held in the Qingdao International Cruise Port Area, a new facility that aims to build a complete high-quality oil and gas industrial chain on the 4.7 Mu land.
Among significant supporting projects for the replacement of old growth drivers with new ones, the China North International Oil and Gas Center, which was established as early as June 2021, has gathered over 100 industrial members, around 30 of which have located themselves in the center.
Enterprises on the platform has generated over RMB20bIn trade volume, leading to the ecology “transaction + finance” and high- lighting the role. After completion, The project will continue to benefit from the implementation of the RCEP agreement, give full play to the strength of Qingdao in terms of finance, port and talent, etc., build itself into a professional energy trade and service platform that integrates transaction, information, finance and logistics, an inter- national logistics collecting and distributing base for commodities like oil, gas and chemical products as well as a demonstration area for industrial policies, so as to empower Qingdao, Shandong province and even northern China seek high-quality economic development.
