On the afternoon of May 20, Qingdao Municipal Foreign Affairs Office held a video working conference with our sister city Metropolitan Brest of France to discuss deepening friendly exchanges in various fields.
Both Qingdao and Metropolitan Brest are important marine cities. Since the establishment of sister-city relationship, the two sides have carried out fruitful and pragmatic cooperation in various fields such as marine scientific research, education and training, port management, and youth sailing.
In the future, the two sides will continue to strengthen exchanges and focus on cooperation in the fields of marine scientific research and addressing climate change.
Metropolitan Brest is located in the Brittany region of France. It consists of the city of Brest and seven surrounding towns. Among them, the city of Brest is an important military and commercial port in France, as well as a famous marine scientific research and sailing sports city.
