On the evening of February 7, China's Ren Ziwei won the men's 1,000-meter short track speed skating final at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Li Wenlong, a skater from Qingdao, won the silver in 1:29.917 at his first Winter Olympics, picking up the first medal in Qingdao's Winter Olympics history.
