After more than 40,000 nautical miles around the world, six ocean crossings and eight race legs, the “Qingdao” has won Clipper 2019-20 Round the World Yacht Race with a total of 145 points.
This season is also the eighth season of cooperation between Qingdao, the capital of sailing, and Clipper Race, and the two sides have worked together for 18 years.
This magnificent 40,000-nautical-mile voyage not only provides a platform for sailing enthusiasts to participate in top international races, but also witnesses Qingdao’s struggle to develop its maritime career!
As a mobile publicity platform, the “Qingdao” has shown the world the wonderful charm of Qingdao as “a vibrant ocean city and a livable and lovable city” and the city of “sailing capital”.
