On June 21, the Tung International Research Center for Sustainable Ocean Development (TIRC—SOD) held a conference on the research on sustainable ocean development strategies and the first batch of achievements in Ocean University of China.
The first batch of achievements are all from the researchers of OUC, which are mainly included four issues: the marketization of marine fishery catchable resources to alleviate the decline of China's marine fishery resources, the construction of a maritime Silk Road display ship to help build a community with a shared future for mankind, the construction of a national marine garbage removal system to alleviate the increasing pollution of marine garbage and the enlightenment of oil development in the Bohai Sea.
During the development of human society, the ocean is under enormous pressure. Aiming at major social problems in the field of sustainable ocean development, the Tung International Research Center for Sustainable Ocean Development (TIRC—SOD) conducts issues on solving social problems based on the achievements of ocean scientific research.
