The opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics was held at the National Stadium on the evening of March 4.
Wei Yaran, a graduate of Qingdao Art School, played erhu at the opening ceremony, bringing Chinese folk instrumental music to the world.
The experience of performing at the ceremony of the Winter Paralympics has made Wei Yaran more confident in Chinese folk instruments. She hopes that more children will learn Chinese instruments in the future, and show more Chinese folk music and traditional culture through their love in folk instruments.
Three graduates from Qingdao School for the Blind, Tong Junjie, Tang Shuyi and Chang Erhan, were in the chorus of the opening ceremony, showing their love for the motherland with their impassioned songs.
In this choir, most people could not see the scene, but when the guard of honor entered, they heard the powerful and resounding footsteps.
They showcase the spirits of contemporary Chinese youth.
