International Women's Day, on March 8th, is celebrated in many countries around the world.
It first emerged from labor movements campaigning for better working conditions, voting rights and fair pay for women in North America and across Europe.
In Russia, men and boys celebrate in the fashion of Women's Day with flowers or breakfast in bed to show appreciation for the women in their lives. In Italy, men send women yellow mimosas to celebrate. In countries like Portugal, women's groups hold "women-only" dinners. In Poland, women march in major cities. In China, The Bearer of Red Flag March 8 are selected to honor women who have made outstanding contributions to the society.
She-power is having a greater influence on the economy, culture and society as the social status, education background and consuming capacity of females have grown in recent years.
Hope women keep confident and free and happy Women’s Day!
