The ocean is the biggest characteristic and advantage of Qingdao, and it also serves as a strategic place to achieve high-quality development. In April this year, the 13th Congress of the CPC Qingdao Committee put forward the city vision of stepping up the effort to make Qingdao "a vibrant ocean city and a livable and lovable city", and made "building a pioneering modern ocean city" as one of the "six statuses", placing Qingdao's marine development in an unprecedented position.
