Recently, the selection of entries for the "Haiwan Chemical Cup" Photography Competition of the 14th Qingdao International Sailing Week · Qingdao International Marine Festival 2022 was successfully completed. The competition was hosted by the Information Office of Qingdao Municipal People's Government, the Office of Qingdao Major International Sailing Events (Festivals) Organizing Committee, Qingdao Sports Development Center, and Qingdao International News Center; organized by fashionqingdao.com, Qingdao Photo Gallery and the editorial department of the magazine Openings·Sailing City; and co-organized by Qingdao Haiwan Chemical Co., Ltd. Hou Heliang, honorary chairman of Shandong Photographers Association and vice chairman of the World Federation of Chinese Photographers, and other expert judges were specially invited to conduct multiple rounds of selection of the entries.

In the end, Wang Yunsheng's Against the Light won the first prize; Zhang Youping's A Forest of Tall Sails and Yang Xuemei's Wonderful Mobile Phone won the second prize; Lyu Jianjun's Golden Harbor, Miao Wei's Sailing Away on the Waves and Li Cunyi's Chasing the Waves won the third prize. A total of 10 people including Li Wanhong and Leng Jincheng won the Excellence Award; 20 people including Yu Shengxian and Wang Yingxia won the Nominee Award. In addition, there is no special prize winner for this photography competition.
The 14th Qingdao International Sailing week · Qingdao International Marine Festival 2022 was held at Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center from August 5 to 14. Themed "Carrying on Olympic Spirit, Sailing in Qingdao; a Vibrant Ocean City, a Livable and Lovable City", this event focused on improving the comprehensive strength, image and charm, and development vitality of the sailing city. A marine and cultural feast of sports and culture, competition and entertainment, and passion and challenges showed the world the unique charm of Qingdao as a Sailing City and a world-renowned ocean city.
