After the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the main breakwater of the Olympic Sailing Center was planned as a special style street, named "Lover's Dam" after the place where the Chinese Olympic windsurfing champion settled down.
The special style street opened in the summer of 2009, housing more than 20 bars, cafes and restaurants. Now it is the most famous leisure style street in Qingdao.
This special style street, which is both a romantic lover's dam and a passionate bar street, is flooded with people at night, looking for beer bars and special barbecue, or coffee houses and dessert stores, as well as wine houses and cigar bars, all have something to offer.
At the end of the dike is the lighthouse, a symbol of guardianship and sunlight. Standing on the embankment at night, you can watch the sea with the breeze, and you can also look across the city center with bright lights, showing the romantic atmosphere everywhere.
