As spring comes and flowers bloom, the cherry valley in Beizhai subdistrict, Laoshan district, Qingdao, attracts visitors with a vast sea of flowers, transforming the mountain village into a pink wonderland.
Beizhai, known as the "hometown of cherries", has planted about 733.33 hectares of cherry trees. The area has become a popular tourism destination during the cherry blossom season, which will last for half a month. The cherry blossoms are expected to be in full bloom during Qingming Festival.
