The mission of the Qingdao(China)Center for Business&Commerce(Russia) is to implement the strategy for the establishment of China-SCO local economic and trade cooperation demonstration zones in Russia and other SCO member states as well as members of the Commonwealth of Independent States in accordance with the principles of “consultation, sharing and win-win cooperation” in order to make strategic breakthroughs in logistics, trade, capacity cooperation, cross-border development and twin-parks interaction and make contributions to Qingdao's opening-up. Its major duties include construction of China-SCO local economic and trade cooperation demonstration zones to promote bilateral investment and trade cooperation with SCO member states, promote cross-border park cooperation, capacity cooperation and park economic development potentiality; help Qingdao-based enterprises to “go out” and “bring in” by providing policy consultation and information for investment and company merger and looking for business partners; providing consulting services to local businesses in respect of urban development, investment environment and economic and trade policies to help them develop business in Qingdao; serving as Qingdao's workstation for introducing overseas talents and brainpower to Qingdao.
