On July 23rd, the event launch ceremony of the 2nd International Top Students Regatta 2021 (China-Qingdao) was held at the Media Center of Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center.
As one of the events of Qingdao International Sailing Week - Qingdao International Marine Festival, this year's race will be held at Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center from August to September, with Youth Keelboat Team Racing and Youth Optimist Regatta. The event is open to youth sailing enthusiasts nationwide, with the goal of becoming the most popular sailing event for young sailors in China, and is dedicated to promoting the popularization of youth sailing.
Recommended by the Qingdao Municipal Sport Administration and audited by the Chinese Yachting Association, the International Top Students Regatta 2021 (China-Qingdao) was officially awarded the CYSR, becoming the first CYSR Silver Medal Event in Shandong Province this year.
International Top Students Regatta 2021 (China-Qingdao) is a sailing event focusing on youth groups in Qingdao, which completes the youth sailing event system in Qingdao. The event aims to provide an international sport for young people, to improve their sporting skills and develop their international vision, as well as to cultivate their leadership, creativity, cooperation, concentration and pioneering spirit, to create international and modern talents, and to build the Sailing City.
