The 31st Qingdao International Beer Festival will be held from July 16 to Aug 8 at the Golden Beach Beer City in Qingdao West Coast New Area, according to a news conference held on June 29.
This year's festival will highlight celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. It will launch a series of activities such as musical performances, tourism, entertainment and cultural experiences.

The festival will have nine beer tents providing more than 1,600 kinds of beer from more than 40 countries and regions. BrouCzech, a Czech brewery, and Beijing-based Yanjing Beer will also make their first appearances at this year’s carnival, which will also offer special foods from different beer producing countries and regions.

More than 300 performing arts activities, including opening and closing ceremonies, music festivals, fashion shows, interactive experiences, parades, lights and fireworks, will be held to entertain revelers. The Voice of Phoenix Grand Theatre will also present musical performances.
In addition, more than 100 activities involving international exchanges, economic and trade exhibitions, sports competitions, and fashion creativity will be held during the festival.
