On the morning of October 18, the Second Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference was opened in Qingdao.
With the theme of "Join Hands towards a Greener and More Inclusive Energy Future", the conference will focus on a number of topics and held two sub-forums on "High Quality Connectivity as an Enabler for Energy Trade and Investment" and "Develop Green and Energy for Harmony between Man and Nature".
Statistics from the National Energy Administration show that more than 40 countries attended the Energy Ministerial Conference, with more than 50 energy ministers and ambassadors in China speaking, and more than 500 participants, a record number of participating countries and heavyweight guests.
At the event, the "Qingdao Initiative for Belt and Road Green Energy Cooperation" was launched.
