In order to help enterprises actively participate in international cooperation and competition and share the development dividend of RCEP, the RCEP High Level Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation is Scheduled to be held in Qingdao, Shandong Province from April 25 to 26, 2021.
On November 15, 2020, the ten Asian countries, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand signed the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP). As a free trade agreement with the largest population, the largest economic and trade scale and the most development potential in the world, RCEP is of great significance for member countries to jointly cope with the uncertainty of the international environment, further promote the facilitation of intra-regional trade and investment, stabilize the supply chain of the industrial chain, and enhance the people's well-being of relevant countries.
With the theme of "jointly promoting recovery, sharing opportunities and seeking common development", the forum will set up such links as opening ceremony, special speech, seminar and on-site visit. It will plann to invite more than 300 participants attended the event, including officials of relevant government departments, representatives of trade and investment promotion agencies and business associations, envoys in China, scientific research Institutes in the field of economy and trade, experts and scholars as well as domestic and foreign enterprises from RCEP countries.
The conference will connect the industrial cooperation of RCEP related countries, help enterprises in RCEP to build a platform for exchange and cooperation, fully explore the potential of favorable policies of RCEP, promote enterprises to reconstruct the supply chain and value chain from the perspective of "RCEP", and inject new vitality into the global economic recovery.
