Qingdao cultural tourism industry is becoming a hot spot for capital. Qingdao recently joined hands with many internationally-renowned “blockbusting partners”. 26 key cultural tourism projects including CLUB MED high-class resort hotel of Laoshan Fosun Group were signed collectively and the total investment reached as much as 70 billion yuan.
Investors of this batch of projects include not only Fortune Global 500 enterprises including Fosun Group and Yangko Holdings Group, such leading companies as Sunac Group and Phoenix TV, but also capital from the SCO member states and novel cultural and creative companies including Russia Artary Group.
To further enhance Qingdao cultural tourism industry’s popularity and reputation, Qingdao specially engaged 10 world-famous celebrities in politics, commerce and entertainment as global promotional ambassadors for Qingdao cultural tourism. They are Han Seung-soo, former ROK prime minister, Zhao Dongping, board chairman of Hong Kong Dongqing Group, Pan Lijun, vice president of America Triple Five Group, Chen Heping, secretary general of Shenzhen Cultural and Creative Industry Association, Juan Gaspart Solves, board chairman of Spanish HUSA FÉNIX, Lv Jianbo, president of Yango Holdings Group, Wang Rong, board chairman of Hong Kong Penghe Group, Kristian Seitz ,founder of Germany New Swan Stone Castle, Yang Shoubin, founder of Spright Industrial Capital Group and Huang Xiaoming, Qingdao-born actor. In cooperation with leading cultural tourism marketing and promotion enterprises including China Tourism Group, these ten representatives jointly signed and released the Qingdao Consensus on Urban Cultural Tourism Marketing and Promotion. In addition, they will recommend domestic and foreign tourists top 10 fashion-themed internet-popular sites of Qingdao cultural tourism based on search data of Meituan, Ctrip and Qingdao local media.
So far, Qingdao has invested 128 key cultural tourism projects worth over 50 million yuan each and the total investment has amounted to 400 billion yuan.
