ZHUJI, China, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Qingdao Eagles snatched a big win of 118-95 against Shenzhen Aviators in the 2020-21 Chinese Basketball Association league (CBA) here on Thursday.
Darius Adams of Qingdao led the game with 31 points, plus nine rebounds and seven assists. His teammate Liu Chuanxing pocketed a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Shenzhen had a strong start, leading 22-19 in the first quarter before Qingdao's big guys like Liu Chuanxing and Dakari Johnson dominated the paint to have a 48-46 lead before the half break.
The gap was extended to over 20 points with a overwhelming third-quarter to put rest of the game into garbage time.
Last-season's top four Shenzhen only sits 14th of 19 in the table. In the next round, the young team will face Guangzhou Loong Lions on Sunday.
